Ancient Wisdom Treats Modern Diseases

Wouldn’t You Like to Know if You Are Eating Cloned Meat?

It is scary what is happening to our food supply. First we are a giant experiment with Genetically Modified Foods. We are told they are safe, but now after having a decade or so of experience we find that they aren’t. Take a read of Jeffrey Smith’s great second book Genetic Roulette. Then the California Almond Board and USDA squeeze out small farmers and require all almonds to be pasteurized with no good reason.

Now we have cloned meats. Honestly to me cloned animals seem almost benign compared to Genetically Modified foods. We believe it should be safe and it may be, but it is arrogance on the part of human nature to declare it is without some years of testing. We are the guinea pigs of an experiment. In the 1970s the surgeon general declared that we wiped out all infectious diseases because of antibiotics. The greed and arrogance of big corporations tell us GE foods and cloned foods are safe to eat. We are learning that a GMO tomato is not the same as a non-GMO tomato, but we were told they are the same.

There is no way to prevent cross-breeding of cloned raised animals and ones that are ‘natural’. I want my organically raised or grass-fed animals not to be cloned. We should know that the milk is from a cloned animal. But without labeling there is no way to know. It may be perfectly safe, but still it should be labeled.
Please take action to ask for labeling of cloned animals. If it is safe then great. But why the resistance to labeling? There must be something they are hiding.
